An Extended Family Session with the Couris

Candi has been a client for quite some time, but she's been a friend for even longer. I've had the opportunity to capture her family's story through many of its chapters. In fact, her sweet little darling Linnea "Nay Nay" even graces our website's landing page! This session marks an extended family session with her in-laws. The photo session was a Christmas gift to Tony’s mom and dad, Tom and Angela (Vincent and Linnea's grandma and grandpa), so we had to wait until after Christmas to post these pretty photos.

Grandpa Tom is Lebanese, so he goes by the Lebanese word for grandfather, ‘jidu.' Tom and Angela's story starts when they were both around 14 years old. They were introduced by mutual friends. Angela was working, going to school and dating Tom on the weekends. They fell in love quickly! Word is Tony’s great grandmother (Tom’s grandma) taught Angela all the Lebanese family recipes including Lebanese green beans, spinach pies, meat pies and tabouli. The story fast-forwards forty years and they now have a son, daughter-in-law and two wild grandkids!

Tom and Angela love to spoil their grandkids every day and especially during the holidays… this year was no exception! When Candi and Tony were brainstorming on what to give Grandma and Jidu this year, they couldn’t think of better gift to give than photos of all of them together. Making and preserving memories are so important to all of them. I couldn't agree more!
